Ten Points of Mind character for the Millionaire
Ten points to consider as presented in the book "How to make money out of Thin air" by Brian Sher (check in your local book shop).
/ Having a clear vision of what you want to do or achieve is an important quality needed to aquire riches. The key is, to find a calling and then focus on mastering it.
/ Spend time with successful people. Successful people avoid doomsayers choosing rather to spend time with other successful people.
/ Beware of dream thieves. dream thieves are people who will tend by what they say to discourage you and make it dificult for you to maintain a positive mindset.
/ have an abundance mentally; wealthy people tend to believe that there is an abundance of opportunity for everyone and do not feel the need to grab at the first opportunity that comes their way.
/ Most financially successful people don't make their money by selling their own time, but by creating and selling businesses which can operate independently of them. They further realise that they require the generation of income from others besides themselves.
/ Successful people have developed the ability to see opportunities that others cannot. This can sometimes be related to an instinct or hunch about an activity or endeavor.
/ Be a dreamer. Many great achievements, whether in commerce, science or exploration, have their origins in the mind of an individual who has the desire to see a vision turned into a reality. To be able to dream in this way is a gift not possessed by all individuals.
/ PCD, Passion, commitment and discipline are essentials for the attaining of financial success. Undisciplened and erratic people rarely become wealthy.
/ Accept failure. People who make a lot of money are also likely to make mistakes. It was once said "You can fail a thousand times, but, you only have to succeed once."
/ Remember, life is not a test drive: successful people are usually action orientated and do not procrastinate. Less successful people often fail to put their ideas into practice because they fear they wont succeed or, because of pure laziness.
